What is the Smart Barrier System?
Our SMART BARRIER SYSTEM was born from cell biology research. It first opens the skin barrier, to then deposit active ingredients even deeper into the skin and finishes by sealing the skin barrier again. It is more effective with less effort!
Can Mask to Reveal be used with sensitive skin?
We don't recommend using Mask to Reveal with sensitive skin.
How can I get my skin used to Mask to Reveal's Acids?
Mask to Reveal is very acidic with a PH value of 3,0. Because of that we recommend to introduce it slowly for the skin to get used the acidity. This means starting with a low dose of 1 pump over the course of a few weeks before increasing to 2-3 pumps. This way acidity tolerance may be built up slowly.
Mask to Reveal may also be used as the final product after Liquid Barrier. This will prohibit the Acid to reach as deeply and build acidity tolerance up slowly. After this introduction period Mask to Reveal and Liquid Barrier can be switched.
Can I use the peeling mask more often than 2-3 times a week?
Yes! Mask to Reveal can also be used as an intensive treatment for 2-4 weeks daily (evenings). Winter and spring months specifically are a good time for intensive treatments to give the skin a little extra regenerative push. Skin tends to lower its own metabolism during colder times and produces less fats and hydration factors, which causes the skin to appear tired and pale.
Kann Mask to Reveal bei unreiner Haut zum ‚Purging' führen?
Ja. Mask to Reveal kann ein ‚Purging‘ verursachen: Die Mandelsäure und das Gluconlacton bewirken eine erhöhte Zellerneuerungsrate der Haut, wodurch Unterlagerungen schneller an die Oberfläche befördert werden. Es entsteht der Eindruck einer Erstverschlimmerung, da mehr Unreinheiten entstehen. Diese Erstverschlimmerung ist allerdings ein willkommener Prozess, denn darüber wird die Haut nachhaltig geklärt.
