Do I also need a cream when using the oil?
No, all valuable lipid building blocks like Ceramide, Phytosterols, and Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids (linoleic acid) are present in Liquid Barrier. They effectively seal the skin barrier and reduce transepidermal loss of hydration. The skin is therefore optimally protected and well hydrated.
Does the oil change consistency when cold?
Yes, Liquid Barrier consists of 50% Cupuaçu Butter and Shea Butter esters. Because of the high concentration of butter the oil gets harder when it is cold. As soon as it reaches room temperature it becomes more liquid again.
